Unable to execute a command from Pentoo pull down menu #112

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Plug Realtek RTL2832U device into USB port
2. Click on Applications Menu -> Pentoo -> radio -> Rtl-sdr

This opens a terminal which shows the following error:
"/bin/sh: /usr/include/rtl-sdr.h: Permission denied"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see a GUI interface to the RTL-SDR application

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.7.5-pentoo-r1 x86_64

Please provide any additional information below.
running as user with sudo privileges.

should probably be called rtl_test and run rtl_test (no flags needed)

ZC, radio menu has been automatically generated by my script but I can't check
what is broken. I don't have a radio card and don't know how tools work. Please
review all of them and fix whatever is necessary.

It is trying to run a header file... the script is broken. I told you what it
should be doing, you can't fix it?

The issue was the executable is chirpw instead of chirp which is what was
the menu was attempting to execute.
