It seems that copying the content of the generated file 
(.e/e/extra_menu/applications.xml) inside /etc/xdg/menus/enlightenment.menu 
make it works, but i don't think messing with that file is a proper solution, 
they should be merged in someways (<MergeFile>?)

Well, according to the last post, this is working editing the default 
enlightenment.menu file, but requires root to work.
to do a well integration, it's needed to modify genxml, this is just a quick 
hack to test if the method work fine
