Flexible Resolution/Aspect Ratio Checker #156

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
It would be great if ADB could pick up device resolutions or aspect ratios for
any connected android device rather than having a 480px x 800px or fixed ratio
frame.

**How it can be done**
If the app can't pick up the device resolution, probably the app (on pc) can
have an advanced option to enter the device aspect ratio then smoothly resize
the frame to the device's resolution.

So is this requesting support for displaying to multiple devices? The app
already picks up the device resolution... the region selector window resizes
automatically to whatever the display size of the device is.

Hey Roman, I just figured out how match the preview box to my work. I made sure
my design was zoomed in at 100% and hid the toolbars (by pressing tab). You're
also right, ADB does pick up the resolution of the phone.

Although i've figured how this works now, it still would be good if the preview
box can be rotated. It would also be helpful if you could write a documentation
for ADB.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay; to rotate the preview box, just rotate the device. Does
that work?
