aux lag #252

aux has a significant impact on loadingscreens to the point i don't even wanna use it unless im on my bank character

Well, did you compare it to TSM or Auctioneer after doing a few scans? I assume it's mainly the historical data and item cache. Not sure how much can be done about that.

imagine complaining about 0.14s waiting time in the loading screen.

well the actual loading difference was bigger, but could be related to cache. for people who doesn't know, clearing cache improves loading screen significantly

Just for the record, the added loading time is more like 25 seconds, not 0.14 seconds. It's alleviated by clearing Cache/ADB/enUS/DBCache.bin about once a week. I'm pretty sure this is more Blizzard's fault than Aux's, but users only see the issue when using AH addons.

There was also a bug in aux that may have impacted it which also made the search autocomplete laggy. It should not happen anymore now after you clear the cache. (the aux cache that is, with /aux clear item cache)
