What steps will reproduce the problem?

Not sure yet. Some combination of logging, pipes, possibly failing writes etc.

So far the leading hypothesis is nonpolarized neutrino flux emission from 
damaged flux capacitor.

There was a bug related to last change in radamsa, which caused it to try to 
print an error and exit, but for some reason tee fumbled the pipe and most 
likely caused everyone to get killed with a SIGHUP.
