Version 1: "From my point of view, I prefer writing a report over giving a speech for two main reasons. First, I think presentations can be limited by time, whereas a report allows you to include much more information. For instance, you might prepare well for a presentation, but you could still fail to get your message across because there isn't enough time to fully explain your ideas. This could leave the audience disappointed. That's why I think writing a report is a better choice."

You can anticipate questions or reactions from the audience, making it easier to engage with them. Second, it's a great way to improve your spoken English because you're practicing in real time. Speaking in front of an audience pushes you to think on your feet and use English naturally. The feedback you get, whether through their reactions or questions, helps you fine-tune your speaking skills and become more fluent over time.
