Entertainment merchandising refers to a form of marketing in which the brand or image from one product is also used to sell another and it is often used in TV shows especially these associated with children. The professor use himself and his daughter as examples. First the professor use himself as an example. When he was a kid, he really liked a character called action hero and he often watch the shows of action hero on the TV and play games with his friends. So when he saw the action hero toy in the store, he also want the toy too. The second example is professor’s seven year old daughter. She also really like watching TV and she owned a cute toy doll. The doll was her favorite toy. So when she find that there will be a TV show which the doll will be the main character. She feel very excited and the show is also as popular as the doll.

Entertainment Merchandising means widely used marketing practice in the entertainment industry is entertainment merchandising, Here are two examples, when the professor was a kid, an action hero is very famous, and the professor watched this television with his friend every week, then they e began seeing this small Action Hero figures in all the store, it was also interested to them, so they also liked playing the toy. They second example is about the professor's daughter, she also like watching television and playing toy, like a cute little baby doll, her friends like it too, so they always talk about this each other, then some weeks ago, there was a program about this, she and her friends are all happy to watch the show.

The reading introduce a concept called Entertainment Merchandising. the concept is about that a kind of marketing in the brand or image from one product is used to sell another related good as well. There is 2 main type of Entertainment Merchandising. One of them is sell toys that look like the character in certain movie or cartoon. For instance, the professor mention once there was a movie called action hero. The professor and his friends are interested in this movie. Few weeks later, he found that there was toy about the movie appeared in the store. Another one is make TV show about popular toy, the professor introduced his daughter and her friends have a very lovely toy dog. Almost every girl like his daughter's age will buy one, and one day his daughter said there will be a TV show about the dog.So of course his daughter will choose to watch it since she really likes the toy dog.

Entertainment Merchandising means that a brand or image can be from one product can also be used to sell another. The professor illustrates this by giving an example: in the past, when he was a little child, he really liked cation hero. So, he watched a lot of programs about the heroes and imagined to be person like that. So, when the toys about the heroes came out, it's natural for him to have the desire to buy the toys. Another example is about his daughter. His daughter really liked a toy--Rosa. And she always played the toys with her friend. So, when the programs about the Rosa came out, it's also natural for her to watch the programs.

After a time, they started to see small hero figures in all the stores. They all watched the TV show so long that it was natural they wanted to buy the toys. The second example is that his 7-year-old daughter and her friends like a cute little baby doll named Rosa. One day his daughter told him that a new TV program with Rosa as the main character would show every week. Naturally She and her friends all started to watch the television show which was already popular, as popular as the toy doll.

The concept of entertainment merchandizing is about a plan to sell and connect to goods together and to share them popularity together.And the professor gives the following example in the lecture.firstly,he gives us his self experience .When he was young,he liked hero and the hero is really popular.And there's a program and the game of the hero.And they are both popular too and they just want to pretend him like hero's appearance .And secondly,he gives an example of his daughter,when his daughter was young.his daughter likes a character called Spro and the character is really popular and there's a TV program called the TV program is related to the character and is popular too.

For example, in the lecture, the professer loved a hero character and watch the program everyweek when he was a child and later it become so normal to buy the goods of the character in stores they saw after he has watched it for a long time. And for his daughter, she loves to play the doll with her friends. Later, a show with the character of the doll come up, so the girl went to watch the show with the friends very naturally. Also the show become really porpular as the toy doll among the children.

Entertainment merchandising is an effective way of marketing in which a brand or an image from one product is used to sell another. And this is usually used in shows and movies connected with children. For example. when the professor was a kid. He and his friends really enjoyed a TV character called action hero. And they played together, pretending to be action heros. So when action heros came out, they all wanted it. Entertainment merchandising markets a new toy with a popular TV show. In another example. The professor's daughter loves to play a cute little baby doll called Rosa, it's very popular among little girls. And then the TV show reported about it. So, it had become very popular.

I disagree with this opinion, not all the Children should have required to learn a second language in school, the reason was for most of the people they won’t use it anymore after school. First, for most of the people, they won’t leave the country where are they born from because they can’t go out to their countries by many reasons but for most of the people because they don’t have ways to go out, most of the people who will just stay in the countries where they were born. So that will waste our time. And about the second was we have is for government, it’s another economic cost for government. That will cost more money on it, but it helps students go to other countries to live. So it’s won’t happen.

The concept is about a kind of marketing stratage that the same image or brand is using on the different product. The professor gives two examples. The first is about the professor's childhood. During his childhood, he and his friends like a TV show called the Action Hero, and they watched them every weekends and palyed game about that TV show. And one day he and his friend found out that the shopes in the town were selling toies of this TV show, and without doubt they all bought the toies. The second example is about his daughter, his daughter and her friends owns a baby doll called Rosa, and they [lay with their dolles every day, and one day his daughter saw the TV show about Rosa and they are very excited about that.

Marketing strategy is to sell the characters or images that have already been introduced in other stories or movies. In the lecture, the professor told us an example which is a character named action hero, this character was introduce to people in the professor's childhood. Originally the character action hero was on a TV show, and later the toy of action hero came out, and the kids that time "have" to buy it since they love action hero too much and eventually the toy, action hero were sold a lot, and this is a very nice example for marketing strategy. And another example is the professor's daughter. The professor's daughter has a doll called rosa, and she love it, and later a TV show about Rosa came out and the professor's daughter is very excited about it.
