input field - CAPS is ignored #83

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open an input field
2. Try to type a capital letter

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Characters.  I see nothing being typed instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.0.0 snapshot.
(How about putting a build number in the about screen?)
