Add FreeBSD Support #17

This has been accelerated by changes in my environment.

I started looking into this and it's likely going to be a fair chunk of work to rework this to support FreeBSD. It's a good idea though as it will likely lead to a lot of refactoring of the script, however I have never really used FreeBSD before so this is likely to be a bit of a learning curve and unlikely to be done quickly.

Shelving for now.
