Extracting gulp-rev-collector-1.0.0.tgz shows the following files:

README.md
index.js
package.json

Extracting gulp-rev-collector-1.0.1.tgz has:

.npmignore
README.md
package.json

Note the missing index.json

Hm... nmp install gulp-rev-collector - all is ok
