Above there is a folder with the download of gbe-plus.

It was not working so I did a fix using new dll files and a new tasks.json file, that fixes my issue, but now when I play SpongeBob SquarePants - Legend of the Lost Spatula, or SpongeBob SquarePants - Battle for Bikini Bottom, it just says Eurasia and a weird thing and crashes. So, it looks like you're using GBE+ 1.2. This version is over 5 years old, which means 5 years worth of fixes/changes have been applied. I only deal with GBE+ 1.7 or the latest version (if you compile it on your own). When making issues on this project, please make sure to use 1.7 or newer, otherwise, you might report a problem that doesn't exist anymore.

Additionally, make sure your dumps of both Spongebob games are correct. Use a homebrew program like the GBA Backup Tool, then verify that the data is correct, i.e. get the MD5 hash and compare against a database like DAT-o-MATIC.

Battle for Bikini Bottom boots up fine in GBE+ 1.7 (not 1.2). It does have an issue where the game freezes on the first stage, but it shouldn't crash before starting up properly. I haven't been able to test Legend of the Lost Spatula yet, however.

Thanks for replying! But, it only works with the new .dll file and new tasks.json file, is there an explanation, for why this happens? + It does not work. + Can you tell me what .dll files/file did I update?

In general, you really shouldn't try to "update" DLLs yourself by replacing old ones with new ones. It can break all kinds of things even if it seems to work. The actual executable file (.exe) was designed to use that specific version. While some versions of a DLL will be compatible, others aren't and can cause all kinds of unpredictable issues. I used to do this myself a long time ago (2002 with FCEU or some other NES emulator) but it's not something I would advise doing.

At any rate, you're still using GBE+ 1.2. I don't provide support for anything older than 1.7, so I have no idea why things aren't working with your setup. I would suggest using 1.7 and seeing if that runs for you.
