Template Variable navigation shows no parent and children for active item

page.header.navigation.active.children

and

page.header.navigation.active.parent

are null, even if there is a parent and also children.

Environment:

Steps to reproduce: Make Categories and dumnp() these vars

Expected result: parentId respectively array of children Actual result: null
