HTML4 browsers (IE chough) still need a bit of love. It's supported by History.js, but History.getShortUrl(x) doesn't behave as expected and needs a work-around.

The latest push addresses Issue #1. I'd like to see "traditional anchors" supported, so I'm leaving this open for now.
