There are cases where this code is run even if the webview has been destroyed. This simply guards against it.

Sorry, for checking out this MR so so so late. Actually, I have not worked with Nativescript for the last 4-5 years and so was not tracking my Nativescript packages. One person contacted me via DM on LinkedIn to merge this MR. So, merging this MR now.
