Assignment Points Grade Evidence
Baseline Grade 55%
Max Grade 90% 85% Grade earned is described below
Pull Request (Integration) 1 0.85 After several attempts, we successfully had our pull request approved. By learning from the mistakes in our previous submissions and making key improvements, we demonstrated our ability to grow and refine our work.
Relevancy Checklist (Peer) 2
Lesson Style (Period) 1 0.85 Before the website's theme change, our original theme seemed fine. However, the new theme conflicted with our previous text colors and formatting, making the site look messy and visually unappealing. Immediately we should have addressed this issue. Fortunately, after receiving valuable feedback from Mr. Mortenson, we updated the formatting, significantly improving the website's appearance.
Homework, Popcorn Hacks 1 x 5 0.90 I put a significant amount of effort into my homework and popcorn hacks, carefully following the instructions for each task while coding them in a unique way. In addition to including all the required elements, I also added extra features beyond what was mentioned in the instructions.
Individual Contribution 1 0.9 For my lessons, I dedicated significant effort to thoroughly understanding my topic and creating engaging learning materials for my presentation. However, I realize I could have paid more attention to the finer details of the website. For example, one of the homework hacks was coded in Java instead of JavaScript. I also invested a lot of time in ensuring my website was well-formatted and consistently completed any outstanding work, plus doing extra work, which isn't required.
Personal Notebooks / Blogs 1 0.9 I put a lot of effort into creating and organizing my personal blogs and notebooks. I updated the theme to make them more visually appealing and added detailed descriptions to all my homework and popcorn hacks to ensure viewers can easily understand the code. Total 11 0.89 Evidence for this grade can be found from this issue, personal blogs, and team lesson page.
Skill Points Grade Evidence
Work Habits (Analytics) 1 0.9 If I don't finish my work in class, I make it a priority to complete it at home before the next day. In CSP, I always focus solely on the classwork, avoiding homework from other subjects, and make a point to consistently pay attention to Mr. Mortenson's presentations. His lessons are incredibly valuable, helping me enhance my computer science skills and knowledge.
Team Planning (Issue) 1 0.89 I consistently made sure that the material we added to our lesson page was useful to the audience, which I could have looked at more specifically, as some of the material wasn't easily visaible. When our pull requests weren't approved, I paid close attention to the feedback Mr. Mortenson provided and worked on improving the next pull requests to ensure they got accepted.(https://github.com/manas12709/manas_2025/issues/8)
Presentation Memories 1 0.89 I loved presenting to the class, sharing the knowledge I gained from this project. It was rewarding to see my classmates actively engaged, participating in the homework hacks and popcorn hacks during the presentation. I was glad to assist anyone who was confused, ensuring they kept up with the material. Overall, the presentation went smoothly, but I believe we could have enhanced our delivery by elaborating more on our code and explaining its functionality in greater detail.
Grading and Feedback 1 0.9 I pay close attention to my peers' presentations to provide constructive feedback on areas for improvement. Additionally, I actively incorporate the feedback we receive into our lesson plan to enhance the overall learning experience for everyone.
Beyond Perfunctory 1 0.9 As someone who has a significant interest in computer science, and wants to major in this aspect in college I am very dedicated to learning the materials in this class, and am continuously doing out of class work regarding computer science to achieve as much knowledge as possible.

The use of the dropdowns is very nice, and can help you when studying college board topics. I also like your treasure hunt game which was original.

Hi Shriya, I liked the short descriptions you added for your lesson buttons, but I think you could make it a bit more readable by changing the positioning and size a bit. Great job on the game displaying your knowledge from the lessons.

Created Home Page buttons with hovers. Created hw and descriptions. 3.6 trivia game and dictionary is favorite. Really big NightHawk on screen ? Discussed a lot of code logic.

illuminati1618 commented 5 days ago

I really like your homepage, I think that the website logo might be a little too big but the homepage format is really nice. I also like that you combined your hacks with a summary of the lesson, that seems helpful. I like how you combined lessons with conditionals to use multiple topics in one hack. Treasure hunt game seems fun, looks pretty complex!

Your page looks different from all the other pages in our class. It had different colors for each button. One thing you need to fix are the numberings on the buttons, as there is no 3.11

  1. I thought it was really cool how you added a part to your code so that a description would pop up over each module when you hovered over it.
  2. You also discussed your favorite homework hacks and such, talking about a game within the dictionary model and how it worked.
  3. I also liked your treasure finding game.

Hi Shriya, I like the buttons that have a summary when you hover over them. I like you final project and how you implemented what you learned.

arshiadebroy commented 5 days ago

Hi Shriya, I liked how you had button for each of the popcorn hacks and lessons. I also liked how you went over each hack that you felt like really resonated with you and a final project that helps you find treasure.

Darsh220 commented 5 days ago

I really like the theme of the page and the material that you have included. There is an issue with your code though because your Nighthawk logo is too big so you could fix that by reformatting your page but I really like the themes. I like the project done too.

She has a table that routes to the main blogs and adds a summary of what she learned from each lesson. Also made a cumulative project, that has game to find the treasure.

Rbojja23 commented 5 days ago

I liked how your navigation bar with the drop-down allowed for definitions to show up. I also liked how you had little summaries for each part and fully used data abstraction (our lesson :) ).

prajnar123123213 commented 5 days ago

Shriya made a button that had floating summaries when you hovered over it. The summaries had code examples with notes here and there, which was cool. She talked about her favorite hacks, and how it helped her learn. She also had a final project. In the future, I would recommend putting your homepage in the blogs, and formatting the submenu a little better.

AlexRubio1 commented 5 days ago

Changed her buttons to be colorful and made the lessons. favorite popcorn hack she has done is in 3.6 creating a dictionary. also used if/else statements in her popcorn hack. overall she thinks it has been beneficial because with data extraction.

Githubneos commented 5 days ago

The dropdown menu is good. The formatting of the page and the application of your hacks in your treasure finding game was very detailed and nice.

DakshaG001 commented 5 days ago

made a float button and had various summaries of her code with notes, overall really good

ArhaanM123 commented 5 days ago

I love how you have a clicker that takes you the main blogs and you added a summary of what you learned from each lesson. You made a nice final project showing that you have a good understanding from each lesson, I just think you could add a. little bit more of a theme.

mihirthaha commented 5 days ago

I like how you have the buttons that take you to each blog. I also like the dropdown menu, however there is no lesson 3.11 so you probably want to fix that.

zachpeltz commented 4 days ago

I like your buttons for popcorn hacks and homeworks and your design.
