What is the expected behavior?
pkg-config should work on Free BSD

What do you see instead?
FreeBSD doesn't have a libvpx.pc for its libvpx package, so pkg-config doesn't 
work

What version are you using?
v0.9.2-35-ga8a38bc

On what operating system?
FreeBSD

Support for vpx.pc file generation was merged in, v0.9.6-88-gf56b9ee.
