Relevancy (Self Grade)

Assignment Weightage Grade Comments
College Board Coverage 20 19 Everything I did in this unit was to make sure students had full collegeboard coverage. I made sure to add some aspects outside of collegeboard. What would make this perfect would be something which could cover more Java in less words
Java Examples 30 28 My examples were better than the collegeboard examples but that is a pretty low bar. I could most definitely have made some better examples. My Rubiks cube example was good at first, but as Mr. M said it was confusing when used to explain reference methods
Popcorn Hack Usage 10 8 Method Gold was fun, although I do admit that I could have added more popcorn hacks and interactive hacks for the class
Homework 10 8 The Homework was method golf. Again this was the minimum bar.
Grading Plan 10 9.4 The grading plan was carefully crafted using a formula. It did not copy Mr. M although it did make sure to avoid grade inflation while making a just and fun system
Original an Creative 10 9.4 I don't think anyone in the class had a game such as method golf or a game such as the basketball game for our unit which incorporated Java tasks and activities to the lesson. It helped with engagement a Lot.
Total 90 81.8 Overall, I think I tried very hard in this team teach to improve in terms of soft skills and putting my voice out there. I could have still improved in terms of engagement but other than that, I feel like I saw a lot of improvement.

Good start on information. But, I am wondering about a couple of the links and visuals? Are they things that I would understand why they are in association with the request?

TDWolff commented 4 days ago

he talked about how he wanted to improve stuff, he had plenty of work to show why and how he improved. he also made references to his team teach and his lesson of method golf, i think that was a great touch.

Liked the motto you had at the beginning and how you tied it into what you learned.

tarasehdave commented 4 days ago

Talks explicitly about areas he can improve in and what he is doing to better himself in said areas.

Th35py27 commented 4 days ago

Nice introduction, and I like the work that you've shown. The quiz for Unit 2 also worked out perfectly, and is something that I remember well.

AdityaSamavedam commented 4 days ago

i like the method golf mini game which really helped practice key concepts, you talked about your takeaways very well

DavidL0914 commented 4 days ago

I like how you have reflection and comments on all your homework assignments which can help you improve and learn more as a student.

JoshThinh commented 4 days ago

I like your reflection on wanting to improve your teaching skills. I also like how you go back on the homework hacks and look at the feedback to improving your coding skills.

M8tth3 commented 4 days ago

Liked how you discussed the improvement of soft skills. Very memorable lesson.

SrinivasNampalli commented 4 days ago

Very clear and shows lots of memories that seem to be good that are made along the way. Organized.

JasonGuan1012 commented 4 days ago

Overall, it is solid work and then the blog and the issue are very organized as well. The issue included images and good summaries which will help a lot when going back and review the units.

LiliWuu commented 4 days ago

I like that you explained what you struggled with and was able to improve on with this sprint

Blog - in association with Units and Teaching Memory - something to recall your individual presentation Relevancy - something impactful you learned Beyond Perfunctory - something that shows you want to learn

Focused on soft skills and perfecting. He talked about Method Golf. Discussed 1 on exam without knowledge of signatures. He discussed liking and improving on comments. He organized unit takeways in foundation directory.

rahulverma13 commented 4 days ago

I liked your description of how you went over the unit takeaways and I think you could have cut some stuff to make it shorter

SlothInTheHat commented 4 days ago

I like how you focused on soft skills on top of technical skills. I liked how you talked about going back and reviewing your homework after it was submitted.

KinetekEnergy commented 4 days ago

I like the images you put and I also like your discussion of improvements of soft skills. I like how you talked about your unit takeaways.

nitinsandiego commented 4 days ago

I like how you organized your information and used icons and memes to help remember the knowledge.

aaguy-hue commented 4 days ago

I really appreciated how personal you started off your presentation, talking about how you were working on improving your soft skills. It was also nice how you went through your homework, but you could've maybe cut down a little bit on how much you spoke about it in order to finish faster.

Tanuj253 commented 4 days ago

your motto was unique and i havent seen anyone work that closely to one

trevorhuang1 commented 4 days ago

I like your introduction and how you linked that to improving your soft skills. I really enjoyed how you structured your summaries as well.
