XMLStreams error handling updates #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. logging into the xmpp server 
2. sending the stream information

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No error messages regarding specific missing objects.
Error messages regarding specific objects.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SVN revision 18 (ArchLinux latest version)

Please provide any additional information below.
Two diff files are the difference between r18 and the changes made, they
will both remove the error messages that were being displayed when
information was not there.
