漢字を構成する部首レベル(Radical-level)の特徴から、CNNおよびBi-directional RNNを用いて少ないパラメータ数で文書分類を行うモデルを提案している。Radical-levelの特徴を用いることでボキャブラリ数やモデルのパラメータを減らすことができ、なおかつ先行研究と同程度の精度を出している。
