some app windows disappear when try to use "Area screenshot" #539

Brief summary of issue

Some app windows disappear when try to use Area screenshot

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Run fresh Gnome (Xorg) session
  2. Because autostart not working for me now I run shutter from app searching menu of gnome
  3. Now I see small try icon
  4. I run Firefox, and gnome-terminal for example
  5. Im cliking on it right mouse button and chose - I call it - "Area screenshot" (for me it is pl_PL "Zaznaczenie")
  6. And boom Firefox window disapeared and I have only seen terminal window
  7. Im turning off shutter
  8. I run shutter from terminal as regular user (not root)
  9. Now I click "Area screenshot" and it works perfect. Firefox window is not disapearing.

Extra information, such as Shutter version, display server in use (Xorg or Wayland), operating system and ideas for how to

solve:

The problem exists only if it run from gnome icon. When I log into terminal as a regular user and just run shutter there is no problem.

OS: Fresh fully updated Fedora 37 (01/17/2023) Windows system: X11 xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.20.14-12.fc37.x86_64, xorg-x11-server-common-1.20.14-12.fc37.x86_64 Gnome: 43.2 Shutter: 0.99.2 Rev.1593
