Clippy Failing

Required Functionality Clippy not complaining about Synth. This is especially a problem when we are doing CI.

Proposed Solution Fix what clippy complains about.

• [x] assertions on result states
• [x] deref which would have been done by auto-deref
• [x] you are deriving PartialEq and can derive Eq
• [x] unneeded return
• [x] crate references the macro call's crate

I plan to make some PR's to fix it, so this issue is to track my progress.
