After looking into conda distribution, I came to the conclusion that it's not worth the effort to maintain a separate package on conda-forge. Because pip is always in conda and one can use pip install there without additional effort.
The concern is that once we put in a conda package in public distribution, long-term maintenance of it and related packages will be potential issues.
