Icon won't change for some websites. #5

There's some websites where the icon won't change with Favtool no matter what I try. I've tried it on two machines with similar results. I'm guessing these are websites that don't populate the folder with a file to begin with and are just show with a colour and a letter instead. Here's one example website if you want to test www.synthtopia.com. I noticed that Favtool creates an icon png in the directory you mentioned but doesn't change the icon in Safari.

I'm still having this issue even with the most recent release. Specifically, with YouTube and FotMob. This is particularly strange, as both sites have worked in the past with previous versions.

I believe the website has to have a favicon to trigger Safari to display an icon, but it displays the cached icon and that's how we're able to change it. I was hoping to add an icon to a website that doesn't have one and I think this is why it's not working.

You can check for an icon by looking at the page source. There should be an image link named "apple-touch-icon" in the header of the html. That's what gets cached and what the app is modifying.
