How util this is I guess depends on how you use the Windows registry function, but if making changes on a (default) live pp_table with the -t flag it will try to create the .reg file in the sysfs path, which will 1. not be possible unless run as root and 2. claim it was written anyway. With this PR you can instead specify where the .reg file should be written to.
