Have reproduced the bug. The result differs from VSFilter 2.39.
It seems hard to fix. Wish me have enough luck.

I'm think it' a \be30 tag wrong? Copy code from VSFilterMOD 2.40 for \be tag?

En, maybe. \be effect is very time consuming and the algorithm I employed using 
some common tricks to accelerate the process and introduce a small rounding 
error (in comparison to official VSFilter 2.39) meanwhile. But I'm not 
convinced that the rounding errro is exactly the reason for this bug.
Anyway, work on it couldn't start until Saturday.

There still seems to be a minor border cut problem in the latest build (see the 
top of the b).

It also appears that the /be30 effect lacks some opacity and is way to dark in 
xy-VSFilter compared to VSFilter 2.39 (see attached images).
