Word duplication bug #9

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

See attached image and script (in zip).

The trigger is unknown, but occasionally a single word get duplicated in a
fashion like the images below.

'The good news, is it seems like it may be reproducible (happened with the same
line twice in a row), but only if I load the script from the very beginning and
wait until playback reaches the problem area. If I seek close to the problem
area it doesn't happen.'

Attempt to reproduce the problem with the attached script? It appears to be
something about the script as a whole, rather than the problem line in
particular.

Some extra input, my system
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
MPC-HC r3733
Haali splitter 1.11.288.0
xy_vsfilter_mru_test_build_20110921 - For the original bug image
xy_vsfilter_mru_test_build_20110923 - For the first three images in my
attachments
xy_vsfilter_mru_test_build_20110924 - For the fourth image in my attachments

The original cases of the bug that I observed were with a 1280x720 video and
script, with the script being about 512 lines in length.

The script does not need to be muxed with the video to replicate the bug, so
long a you use DirectVobSub (auto-loading version) and name the script the same
as the video file it will load and replicate.

In regards to cyberbeings Mardock Scramble test, I got the same first instance,
as pictured in the fifth attachment but I did not get the same second instance
at 19:09, however, I did notice an instance at about 13:00 which I failed to
pause in time to cap, so there may be some lines which are more likely to
trigger than others.

Also, note the bottom right corner of the fifth attachment, the comma that
should be there appears to have been rendered incorrectly.
