latest rop_games_baker node fails to generate base_color channel #143

I am trying to generate basecolor channel for this "Flowmap_River_Examplefile.hip" houdini sample tutorial by Andreas Glad. I am using latest 'Games baker HDA' from github and my .tga files generate and show up as junk.

Attached zip file has render folder containing my .tgas

Could you tell me what version of Houdini and GameDevToolset you are using?

Hi, Sorry i missed to quote them.

houdini 17.0.416 Games baker otl from latest development of gamedev tools.

I see. Due to some nodes being specific to Dot releases (17.0 vs 17.5 etc) we have a separate build process for the toolset on each of them. If you click the button to change branch in Github, you can see all of them listed. The automatic updater inside Houdini will only grab one that matches your Houdini version. The problem you're experiencing has been long fixed in 17.5 builds. Is there any chance you could update to 17.5?

Sure. I will either update to 17.5 or get an older games baker hda.

I tried to install 'games baker' otl 17.0 over my earlier development version,still tga are not useful. Should I use houdini 17.5 only?

I have the same problem. I'm using Houdini 17.5.173 and GamedevTools 1.183 on OSX 10.14.5. I have a pig head with an overlay geometry created with sop_decal_projector1. I'm trying to bake Diffuse Map and it ended up looking like this

Normals also ends up quite crazy
