Better logo #1

Haven't gotten to design the app icon until today. Are you still interested in refreshing it?

I've investigated some other metaphors for the app, but it seems like the one you chose isn't actually bad. It might be a matter of simply fine tuning the execution. Is this something you'd be into?

Monitor/Display brightness

That looks really good and already a big improvement! Much better than what I had made just smashing two existing default gnome icons together :P If I had to nitpick, I would say that the monitor seems to be composed of 3 shades here in the bezel, stand and stand edge, and the stand and stand edge look a bit darker than the bezel in white background and the stand edge is becoming almost invisible over the darker wallpapers, making the stand look smaller. Maybe we can lighten up the stand and stand edge just a little so it does not blend in or look too contrasted from the bezel's shade, what are your thoughts ? Other than that this looks perfect to me.
