@axtTOKQf Does this issue still persist with the latest release?
Cheers, S
Unfortunately, yes. It still works slow. It works better if I activate the desktop dimmer for only one screen even though it uses high CPU (%12, I have 2nd gen i7 2 GHz) and mouse moves slightly slow, but when I activate it for two screens (built in laptop monitor and HDMI output), the computer slows down, the CPU usage jumps to %18 and mouse can't move smoothly.
I don't have these problems with the version 3.1.2.
System specification:
i7 2630QM Intel HD Graphics 3000 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M 8GB ram Windows 10 Home 1709
I am experiencing the exact same issue. 3.1.2 auto-updates, so I had to uninstall.
External display via HDMI i5-480M Intel HD + GeForce GT 330M Win 10 1709
I am experiencing the same issue with version 4.0.3. This is the first time I installed your software. I like it but I don't want to use it like that. CPU 11.8%, GPU: 8.7%, GPU-Modul: GPU 0 - 3D, RAM: 310.4 MB.
OS: Windows 10 Education, Version 1803. CPU: i7-4500U CPU @ 1.8GHz 2.4 GHz. RAM: 16.0 GB (15.4 GB in use). Systemtype: 64-Bit.
Same here with version 4.0.4. Anything new?
I had to use the version : 3.1.2 from https://github.com/sidneys/desktop-dimmer/releases
🤷🏽♂️ Current Behaviour
Cpu usage of the software is much higher than the usual after the update and mouse cursor can't move smoothly.
