Thunderbird 78.5.1 32 bit email issue #8

Thunderbird header to : {{email}} does not seem to get filled in by Mail Merge P even though the spreadsheet has the correct header three two first

Same problem with Thunderbird 78.5.1 64 bit. Mail merge is failed

Did you press "Enter" in the "To" field? If you don't, the contents of the field won't be recognized.

to: {{email}} (press enter)

However, when Mail Merge generates the emails, it is attaching <> to the email address which throws off Thunderbird

Maybe you could use to: {{name}} <{{email}}>

The issue with an extra <> will be solved when 2.3 is published :-)

Yep. It's been published: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/mail-merge-p/
