python-gui in microgrid #1

i installed the kivy and all dependencies in linux(ubuntu),and i did "make" under /home/gch/microgrid/interface/communication, and i connected the pic to my pc, i am running run.py and opend the gui,but when i am putting ping/localtime in the gui but it is not responding in the gui, i am worring about that please help me

Have you loaded the correct code on the pic? Also this project requires very specific PIC set-up to use, therefore it is no really meant as a one stop show, but rather as a set of utilities which people working and microgrid software and other things might find useful.
