💡 What is the current behavior?

Currently, the dropdown does not open after a filter was added and the category-filter has not been clicked again.

JIRA Ticket: IX-868 GitHub Issue Number: Closes #1047

🆕 What is the new behavior?

The dropdown opens now if one starts typing (after closing it with click outside or ESCAPE). Furthermore, the dropdown stays open as discussed with @silviowolf.
