Tab Session Manager suddenly randomly ties up the user's entire browser by downloading thousands of files, requiring a force quit so the user loses anything they were working on in open tabs. I know it was TSM because the downloaded files all went into a folder called "Tab Session Manager Backups".
Disconnecting from the network doesn't stop the barrage of downloads.
In fact, when I restarted after the force quit, with the network disconnected, it started trying to download thousands of files AGAIN.
Steps to reproduce
No idea, it happened totally randomly without me doing anything to cause it
Expected result
Tab Session Manager lets me use my browser as normal, never ties it up by unexpectedly downloading thousands of files.
Actual result
Absolutely not, I cleaned up my hard drive and removed the extension, I am not reenabling it. I have work to get done, I can't risk getting my browser tied up again.
Platform information
Platform (OS): Mac
Version of browser: Firefox 115.2.1esr
Version of Tab Session Manager: 6.12.2
Additional context
My settings say the plugin was updated today, it looks like maybe you introduced a showstopper bug.
I am unhappy that now I have to find another session manager plugin, which means, all my saved sessions, which I was actually saving for a reason, are unusable.
