DEP warnings #136

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

I use r658 on Vista x86.
Sometimes, when i change options or resume emulation I get DEP warning.
Got one at first start when it said that PCSX2 has to be configured first.
It showed configuration screen and crashed. When I started it again,
everything seemed right, then I started Okami, paused emulation(ESC), Then
resumed emulation(Execute), and got DEP warning again...
Maybe Jake.Stine doesn't have DEP-enabled CPU, but I have... Sry...

I enabled DEP some weeks ago in fact, but I haven't gotten any DEP warnings,
nor has
anyone in the pcsx2-pg team reported any warnings. Can you get an idea
when/what
revision this started happening? r658 doesn't look like a likely candidate
since
it's changes are isolated to the MTGS specifically.

I've missed A LOT of revisions, so I can't tell...
Last revision I have is r349.
Now I can trigger DEP warning if I delete configuration files and start
pcsx2...
After selecting and configuring plugins I press OK aaaand, here we go, DEP
warning... I don't know what I did first time, but I've got DEP warning again
when
running some game(Okami I think)

If r659 fixes it, an issue can be closed...

Do you have the Gigaherz Dev9 plugin? If so remove it, and use the Dev9 Null
plugin
instead, and see if that helps.

I know about Dev9, and it was deleted long time ago...

I think this was related to MTGS trying to run pure virtual functions. It
should be
fixed in the new svn's over at the official pcsx2 project.
