VTLB : Final Fantasy XII now hangs at a spceific location. (quick-access memcard included) #143

What happens :
Game hangs. Characters and music keep moving, scene does not proceed correctly.

Versions and settings :
Using VM, the scene proceeds perfectly. Using VTLB, the scene hangs. Same
revision was tested in VM and VTLB mode. Latest revision (r667 or so) was
also tested. All other factors (hacks, advanced crap, etc.) were tested to
no effect as well.

How to reproduce :
Open FFXII save in attached memorycard, follow the map (press select) to
the red X and speak to the guards there. Skip the first 3 scenes (or watch
them) and watch the fourth (vaan and others are being led through a
corridor), scene hangs.

Ok, i tried this 2 times.
The scenes work for me, and it continues through to gameplay.

Can you test the game on a later build once more?
If it still fails then, please post your system specs and emu settings.

Okay, this is weird : apparently it only happens when the sound plugin is
ZeroSPU
(0.4.6). Other plugins such as peops and Spu2ghz continue the scene normally.
However, even ZeroSPU works fine on the VM versions, so I'm not sure if the
plugin is
truly at fault here.

Issue still happens in the PG version of ZeroSPU (as found on the betas post on
the
forums - r563), by the way.

Alright, thanks for the info.
We'll see what's wrong with this.

It really is curious :p
