MIssing plugins #36

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
In the new build 283, some plugins is missing from the configuration menu.
USB is gone, BIOS file is gone, in SPU only P.E.Op.S. is showing. PCSX2
cant detect them anymore.

Scratch that. Its not a PCSX2 problem, but a SPU2GHZ rev 287. When I removed it
from
plugins
directory, plugins and BIOS are back.

If you had an spu2ghz from r286 or r285 in the plugins folder it would have
caused
odd behavior like that, even if you weren't using it. r287 should be ok though
(I
haven't had problems with it), but you do need to make sure to get rid of the
earlier
version if it's lying around. (ironically it may not cause problems until after
installing a newer version of the plugin, which could lead you to believe that
it's
the newer version causing the trouble)

Older version was overwriten by newer version, so there is not a chance, that
older
version was still there.

... I wonder if I messed up the dllExport rules when I re-arranged the project
stuff.
I'll go on that lead for now and see where it takes me.

Working here, so its a specific issue.

Mr.Henky1:
Could you try creating a new folder for pcsx2 and just put the newest plugins
in there?
(No old .ini files or plugins please)
Then test it again :)

I redid the method of dllexporting in the latest svn. Hoping it fixes your
problem.
I think your builds were using an out-dated .exp file or something and getting
confused. The new version should override that and create its own now.
