Feedback to authors:

This is an interesting abstract, but its unclear what state the submission and project are in... Is this a project with a full paper behind it or is the research yet to be conducted?

There is a lot of work that exists related to claim validation, and synthesis - drawing upon some of that would be helpful to ground your reader's attention and make clear your intended audience.

Decision (Accept, Reject, Lightning talk): lightning talk

Feedback to authors: I do think this is relevant to the workshop, just not as much as some of the other papers. I do think that if the authors wanted to expand on this for a JASIST paper they should more explicitly tackle some of the topics in the CFP -- notably, how conceptual models are used in synthesis work, and the sociotechnical nature/impacts of those models.

Feedback read and noted, with thanks!

FWIW, this is research still in the conceptualizing/planning/piloting phase, so no full paper yet. But will definitely have more things to share for feedback next week.
