Can you check if you're in Lite Mode? ... -> Settings -> Lite mode
i'm not in Lite mode. i tried turning it on to see if it changes anything and still the same.
I have the same issue. When I launch the game, stadia show a modal giving me a connection error. If I try with my smartphone on same network, everything works.
@elfrichi @GeggioMan which devices are you using? I had the same issue but unrelated to network. The unreliable GPU acceleration support of chromium in some old generation GPU (e.g Mali 450 GPU) is causing it. You can try out disabling GPU acceleration (chrome://flags/#disable-accelerated-video-decode). In the case your GPU is modest it is very unlikely the CPU will be able to render H264/V9 fast enough anyway.
I'm using amazon firestick 4K.
So, I'm using a TCL U49C7006, which uses the chip Mediatek mt5891, which supports vp9, according to this document: https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1EPzlq_ipIPMCDoMqMgDl0IuKmTsMoZHeKKwE_zxbFUk/pub#h.iglowpthgo0t
But I still have those connection issues using this apk.
Curiously, I can launch the game in vanila Chrome, only issue is that I cannot connect the controller.
when i try to use chromium-for-stadia, launching a game always fail and monitoring bandwidth i see it doesn't go above 300 kbytes/s when stadia checks the connection, while using the official chrome it launches fine and the bandwidth goes to 1500 kbytes/s. is there some proxy going in background, do you think i'm routed to a wrong datacenter? i'm in france by the way. tested on pocophone and oculus quest.
