Based on the website, it seems that BosphorusSign22k is intended to fully replace BosphorusSign. On the other hand they are both mentioned and there are separate citations.
Citation for original BosphorusSign is at https://aclanthology.org/L16-1220.pdf.
What's a "user mask"?
Citation for updated BosphorusSign22k: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2004.01283
I'm going to update the BosphorusSign JSON to match the "publicly available" statistics. 595 for lexicon, 22670 for samples.
Signers: 22k says they have 6. But the paper for the original says they "aim to have 10". So it's unclear how many the original had. But based on this paragraph it seems likely they aimed for 10, got 6, and that number didn't change for 22k:
There's no mention of dropping a signer or anything, so I'm going to leave the original one at "6".
BosphorusSign: link broken, website at https://ogulcanozdemir.github.io/bosphorussign22k/, looks like it needs a number of updates actually. Needs to be its own issue/pull request methinks.
Also we should add BosphorusSign22k, the new and updated version. Should that be separate, or together?(separate issue, #50)Originally posted by @cleong110 in https://github.com/sign-language-processing/sign-language-processing.github.io/issues/45#issuecomment-2129731322
