Patch a mistake in a video passage draft

Some teams would like the ability to correct a mistake or omission in draft [not final!] video for a passage.

This would mean

1) selecting the start/end location in the original video timeline where the mistake occurs

2) Recording a corrected video segment that fixes the mistake. This would normally include some signs before and after the corrected part.

3) Adjust the start and end locations where the video will be replaced in the original passage. The controls under the video allow you to move the position forward or backward by 1 second or 1 frame.

4) Adjust the start and end locations in the patch video to determine what will be inserted.

5) In each of the 4 frames shown identify a common point. In the example we have located the nose with a green cursor. When the patch is inserted it will be shifted up/down and left/right to minimize any abrupt jump in the video due to small variations in the position of the signer. The cursor will not appear in the patched version of the video.

6) Click "Play" to view starting a few seconds before the patch until a few seconds after the patch in order to verify whether you want to proceed with the patch.

7) Click "Patch" to accept the patched version of the video as the latest draft or cancel to start again.
