Before anything could you please double-check that you are testing Logic in
32-bit mode (I presume that 32-bit is what you have tested with all those other
hosts).
I am (just as with Issue 8) 100% certain there is a solution to this. Not
saying that it is without flaws, but Symbiosis is used on tens of thousands of
Logic installations today.
If Sinoplex won't show up, could you please test one of the Sonic Charge
plug-ins (MicroTonic, Synplant or Bitspeek) to see if it shows up in Logic?

Thanks for the fast response!
I'm running in 32bit mode.
I think there is a solution too, judging by the names I've read on the
"Symbiosis in use" list, that's why I'm trying to figure out what's going on
before starting a native AU project.
I'll try the Sonic Charge plugins tonight and I'll report the result.
Is there anything else that would help? I can send you the binary if you want.
I'll also try the other Symbiosis versions tonight.
Cheers

Yes, please try my plugins. If they show, there is definitely a solution. It
could be something with the latest beta of Symbiosis. I am using the last
stable version for my plug-ins (you'll find the stable release on the download
pages here or in the repository history).
I'd be happy to run a quick test on your binary if you send it to me. I think
you should be able to attach a binary to this issue.

Thanks a lot for trying to help man!
I'd like to not attach the plugin binary here, as it is not released yet and I
don't want a "public" download of an half-working beta here (I don't have the
Sinoplex binary here at my office, so I can only give you my wrapped plugins),
sorry for that.
I'll sent it to you through the email of your gmail account I see on your
comments, hope is ok!
I've already sent you an email yesterday, before opening this issue, I don't
know if you've received it. Maybe check your spam folder.

Ah. I thought you meant to send me Sinoplex or something. When I compile
Sinoplex, it works in Logic, so it would be interesting to try your build.

I'll attach my Sinoplex build as soon as I'm home! Thanks

Ok, I feel like an idiot now -.-'
Basically I'm too used to Cubase and Reaper and I've just figure out that Logic
doesn't handle mono and stereo plugins the same way as those other daws...
My plugin is stereo (2 ins, 2 outs) and Symbiosis is wrapping it like a stereo
plugin, which is right of course.
Logic doesn't let you use a stereo plugin on a mono track and vice-versa. I've
only tried mono tracks, that's why it wasn't showing up :-(
In stereo tracks it works.
Sorry for opening this issue, I failed.
Any chance to support mono and stereo processing together for Symbiosis in the
future? I've see it has been discussed in Issue 9. It would be awesome, but in
the meanwhile, I guess I can live with a mono and a stereo version separately
:-)
Regards and sorry once again.

No problem! Glad there was an easy solution.
I will be working on Issue 9 asap since I'd like to have variable I/O count for
the next Bitspeek release.
