side effect: I've noticed the events are shown on the calendar app (as all-day events) at the top.
A single event is displayed in the all-days area at the top of the screen.. just twice over two days.

I am able to reproduce this, will try to patch as soon as possible.
Thanks for the quick fix.
edit: Is this going to resolve these issues once I resync?
@cybershambles this will not automatically resolve the issue once you resync, sorry. It is possible for someone to create a 24hr event without it being an "all day" event so there is no easy way to identify events that got messed up by this bug. Deleting the calendar by using the "My calendars" view followed by re-import of the calendar will work this time around.
Please open up any other issues you encounter and we will do our best to resolve them quickly. We didn't get a chance to beta test this as much as we'd have liked so community feedback is very valuable these first few days.
My all-day events are all synced as two day events now - '23rd of july 1:00am to 24rd of july 1:00am'.
The all-day toggle is selected on my google calendar and not on my newly created synced copy.
timezone or not accepting the allday flag?
