While opening image folders show Black thumb and after open any photo samé Black view

Problem persists for HEIC but not JPG with S24 (SM-S921B) running newest version of vendor's Android 14, and SIGNAL 7.10.3. Any news?

I have the same problem with zenfone 9 and signal 7.13.3. I resaved the photos that were not showing and they started to show correctly.

On 7.19.2 the same issue is still the case, for a 7.12MB .png file.

My understanding is that at least some of the issues people are experiencing are due to this bug: https://github.com/bumptech/glide/issues/4517

Not sure yet if we can use the glide plugin system to replace the bad component.
