Signal app does not auto-pause playing media to record voice notes

Bug description

Recording voice notes in Signal Android when other media are playing does not pause that media, resulting in

Steps to reproduce

Play media from any another app (podcasts, music etc, multiple tested)
Minimise media player in background
Open Signal
Open a conversation
Record a voice note

Actual result: Playing media does not pause, causing Signal to record both the contents of the voice note and the playing media Expected result: Playing media pauses for the duration of the voice note recording, and resumes once recording is done.

Device: Samsung Galaxy A31 Android version: 11 Signal version: 5.26.11

Audio now seems to pauze when you start recording but there are cases I want to record and send audio that is playing. Please give an option to enable or disable this behavior.

Echoing this request; please enable a feature which lets us continue to play audio from an external app (e.g. Youtube, Spotify, Soundcloud, etc) while recording a voice note/audio message.
