Bug description
When I receive an MMS message (with Signal set as my default MMS/SMS app) from my network provider that was sent using the email to text gateway (such as@vzwpix.com), the message now displays the email address as truncated. For example, where it once would've shown me johndoe@gmail.com, it is now showing johndoe@gma. Additionally, I have a contact that always sends using the email to text MMS gateway through my carrier, and when I try to create a contact for this email address to give it a friendly name, Signal does not correctly identify the sender as a valid contact. I have tried adding the email to an existing contact, and creating a contact with only the email address. Signal does have contact permission on my device.
It is worth noting that in my testing, it does not appear that SMS messages exhibit this behavior, only MMS (Verizon can deliver an email as an SMS using @vtext.com, or MMS using @vzwpix.com) I also set my default SMS/MMS app back to the stock Android app and verified that these messages were indeed processed correctly at the carrier end, and the stock Messages app received them without truncating the email.
Steps to reproduce
Actual result: MMS messages sent to a phone using Signal as its default MMS/SMS app using email-to-text gateway have truncated email addresses shown as the sender in the message and message view, but display correctly in notification. Expected result: Email address should not be truncated and display correctly.
Screenshots
Please let me know if you need screenshots provided. I will have to take some and edit out some of the details to hide part of the email.
