Bug description

Delay response time which keeps prolonging verification

Steps to reproduce

Actual result: unnecessary delay and frustration Expected result: actually verify my phone number and not putting me through unnecessary stress

Yes after answering a series of captcha

Are you able to share your country code with me? I can hand it off to support and have them check to see if there have been delivery issues in your region. You can also reach out to support directly at support at signal dot org.

234 is my country code

I have a similar issue and have emailed support. When I try to register a number with country code +234, it takes me through the usual CAPTCHA and after a delay, I get an error saying "unable to request verification code. Please check network connecrion and try again" Now, if I retry the same number multiole times, Signal temporarily blocks registration because I tried too many times. I've tried with both Signal and Molly (a 3rd party app for Signal) Screenshot_20240413-194107_Molly Polish_20240416_202640153
