Sending MMS fails with just "Some issues need your attention" and "Failed to send" #3999

I've TextSecure 2.25.3 installed on CM 12.1-nightly. Carrier's TMobile.

TS works well with/without encrypted users -- for text.

I just tried to send a MMS with animated GIF attached.

On send attempt, message is immediately rejected; I see "Not delivered" and "Tap for details".

On "Tap for details", the only 'detail' provided is "Some issues need your attention" and that my message "Failed to send".

Thanks for the bug report! Yeah, we can only send animated gifs via MMS if they're within the 300kb constraint. There isn't good error messaging for that now, but we're working on it.

Check the date of MY message here. Is the issue resolved yet? Using an Android Huawei P8 and I suppose the jpg I'm sending is > 300Kb. Hell are there any jpegs smaller than this now on Androids? Yes, it's a waste of bandwidth...
