Poor colors in Linux desktop app #5261

Bug Description

Steps to Reproduce

  1. get image form any stickerpack from telegram (example below)
  2. create stickerpack in signal
  3. send sticker in signal and telegram, compare and see

Actual Result:

Colors in signal are poor

Expected Result:

Colors should be the same

Access denied for your second link. Maybe you could attach the image to this issue so that it's easier to reproduce?

Is it all sticker packs on your machine? I have seen a similar sticker set which the colors look right. These are created by the community so the image that they end up uploading matters.

Stickers for telegram made by community. Stickers for Signal made by myself via downloading images from telegram sticker pack (one of source images attached). Hope I've found reason and solution. The reason is chrome's color profile (not chromium only chrome)! When I changed flag chrome://flags/#force-color-profile from Default to sRGB the colors bacame close to normal.
