What kind of mac are you on, specifically?
How long have you left it in that not responding state? Is it using lots of resources (CPU/memory are increasing or high) when it's not responding, or seemingly doing nothing?
Does Chrome work for you? Or Slack/Discord/Teams? They are based on similar technology
16" 2023 M2 Pro 16gb. I'll try letting it go for a while. Barely any CPU/memory. Chrome/Slack/Teams are all operating normally. I will try a restart of the machine after work.
A simple restart fixed the issue. Not sure what the deal was. PEBKAC maybe.

Overall summary
App does not load after update. Downgrading to 6.46 does not resolve the issue: "Application not responding" (from system tray/process list)
