signal-desktop: ringing despite contact being muted

Overall summary

contacts which are muted use the normal - loud anoying ringing when call in expected behaviour would be that these cant ring in (no sound played)

• only option is to disable call-in sound for all - but thats not what is wanted

Steps to reproduce

mute any contact - and then let them call in (while overall ring in is allowed)

Expected result

no ringing - or at least a option to opt out for ringing of muted accounts

ringing and loud disturbance

This is currently as designed, so I'm going to close this. The forums are the best place to talk about feature requests like this: https://community.signalusers.org/

However, we'd still love to know more about your scenario. Why don't you want to know about incoming calls from a given contact or group, but you haven't blocked them?
